LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL SPECIAL MEETING
December 9, 2013
THESE MINUTES ARE SUBJECT TO APPROVAL BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL
The Legislative Council held a special meeting Monday, December 9, 2013 in the Council Chamber of the Municipal Center, Newtown. First Selectman Llodra opened the meeting at 7:00pm.
PRESENT: Mary Ann Jacob, Neil Chaudhary, Joe Girgasky George Ferguson, Lisa Romano, Paul Lundquist, Dan Amaral, Phil Carroll, Anthony Filiato, Dan Honan, Bob Merola and Ryan Knapp.
ALSO PRESENT: Robert Mitchell, George Benson, Monte Frank, Geralyn Hoerauf, Board of Selectmen members Pat Llodra, Will Rodgers, James Gaston, Board of Education members Debbie Leidlein, Laura Roche, Kathy Hamilton, Michelle Ku, John Vouros, David Freedman, Keith Alexander and Superintendent Dr. John Reed, Board of Finance members John Kortze, Joseph Kearney, James Filan, Harry Waterbury, John Godin. No members of the press and no members of the public.
EXECUTIVE SESSION: Selectman Rodgers moved to enter executive session to discuss legal matters. Invited to attend were the above board members, Dr. Reed, George Benson, Bob Mitchell and Geralyn Hoerauf. Mr. Gaston seconded. All were in favor. Executive session was entered into at 7:05pm and returned to regular session at 9:15 with no motion taken.
ADJOURNMENT: Having no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 9:20pm.
