Charter Appointment Committee of the Newtown Legislative Council Chairman Paul Lundquist called the meeting to order at 6:03 p.m.
VOTER COMMENT: No members of public present
NEW BUSINESS
EXECUTIVE SESSION FOR THE PURPOSE OF INTERVIEWING CHARTER REVISION COMMISSION APPLICANTS: MOTION: Ms. Jacob moved to enter into Executive Session for the purpose of interviewing Charter Revision Commission Applicants.
6:05 -- Executive session to interview Deb Zukowski
6:20 -- Executive session to interview Al Roznicki
7:00 -- Executive session to interview John Godin
7:20 -- Executive session to interview Allan Song
7:40 – Executive session to interview Peggy Baiad
8:15 – Executive session to interview William Pieragostini
9:00 -- Committee returned to public session
FUTURE MEETING SCHEDULE - Mr. Lundquist asked the availability of committee members for future meetings (beyond Monday, July 2 – already scheduled). The Committee agreed to meet Monday, July 9, 2012 at 7:00pm at place to be determined.
Having no further business, the meeting adjourned at 9:03 p.m.
