PENDING APPLICATION

IW #14-08  10 Taunton Lane, Ten Taunton Lane, LLC.  Application for grading work to be done in a three lot subdivision.

Dennis McMorrow from  Berkshire Engineering and Surveying, representing the applicant, provided an overview of the proposed subdivision.  The wetlands on the parcel were flagged by Environmental Planning Services in West Hartford.  The proposed subdivision will consist of three lots in addition to the existing home on 10 Taunton Lane.  One lot will be internal.  Lot #1 is in an R1 zone with Lots #2 and #3 in an R2 zone.  There is proposed work on Lot #1 that is within the regulated area.  The other two lots are not close to the regulated area.  Mr. McMorrow discussed drainage and storm water plans.  They are trying to save the trees along the rear lot driveway for privacy issues.  Ms. Curran asked if they plan to place barriers against the wetlands.  Mr. McMorrow said there are natural slopes that would inhibit anyone from going there.  The commissioners will walk the site and the applicant will return to the next meeting.
