APPROVED MINUTES
Regular Meeting
April 9, 7:30 p.m.
31 Pecks Lane, Newtown, Connecticut

Present:  Peters, Salling, Pieragostini, Kotch, Curran, and Clancy
Staff Present:  Robert Sibley, Deputy Director; Tammy Hazen, Clerk

Commissioner Peters opened the hearing at 7:30 p.m.

Violations

No violations were discussed.

Pending Applications

#08-06   North Point Construction, LLC, 38 Taunton Hill Road. Application for activities within a regulated area and the removal of a violation.

This application was withdrawn.

#08-09   Vona, Oak Ridge III, 46 Eden Hill Road.  Application for activities relating to a subdivision.

Public Hearing has been set for April 23, 2008.

#08-10    Gary Gaydosh, 90a Huntingtown Road. Application for activities within a regulated area and the removal of a violation.

Mr. Sibley provided a status report.  Commissioner Pieragostini read for the record an e-mail from Ward Mazzucco addressed to Mr. Sibley dated April 9, 2008.  Commissioner Curran motioned to approve this application with standard conditions A, B, C, L, and:

1.      The approved plans for the development are “Site Plan Prepared for Gary Gaydosh 90a Huntingtown Road Dated February 4, 2008” and supporting materials.
2.      The applicant will complete the required conditions stated on the approved plans within 4 months of this approval.  To be inspected and approved by the Wetlands Agent.

Seconded by Commissioner Pieragostini.  Motion carried unanimously.

Public Hearing

#08-04   Hattertown LLC, 22 Hattertown Road.  Application for activities within a regulated area.

The applicant was not present.  Commissioner Kotch motioned to continue the hearing.  Seconded by Commissioner Salling.  Motion carried unanimously.  

Other Business

Minutes – March 26, 2008 – Commission Curran motioned to approve the minutes.  Seconded by Commissioner Salling.  Motion carried unanimously.  Changes were noted during discussion.  Commissioner Salling motioned to approve minutes as amended.  Seconded by Commissioner Pieragostini.  Motion carried unanimously.

Acceptance of New Applications

Modification to #05-42  Schultz Family Ltd Partnership, 127 Walnut Tree Hill Road & Alberts Hill Road.
    Application for activities related to the construction of a single family home.
#08-11  Jody Murphy, 6 Fir Tree Lane.  Application related to the removal of a violation.
#08-12  Jody Murphy, 6 Fir Tree Lane.  Application related to the construction of a single family residence.
#08-13  11 Church Hill Road LLC, 11 Church Hill Road.  Application for activities within a regulated area.
#08-14  William Joyce, 12 Shepard Hill Road.  Application for activities within a regulated area.

Commissioner Kotch motioned to adjourn the meeting at 8:45 p.m.  Seconded by Commissioner Salling.  Motion carried unanimously.
