Due to the lack of quorum the regular July 21, 2011 meeting of the Fairfield Hills Authority could not be called to order.
While waiting for a quorum to assemble First Selectman Pat Llodra shared the following information with those present:.
#1 – Kevin’s Community Center – after serious consideration the Board of Director have made the decision that Kevin’s Community Center will not be moving to one of the Duplexes on the Fairfield Hills Campus because it is cost prohibitive.
#2 – First Selectman Pat Llodra stated that she had received a letter from Nunnawauk Meadows requesting consideration of the possible transfer of 45 acres that are not suitable for their needs, for the use of a building or parcel of land on the Fairfield Hills Campus. .
#3 – First Selectman Pat Llodra stated that she and Representative Lyddy have been in contact with the State of Connecticut to secure funding for a “Band shell” type structure to be located on the Fairfield Hills Campus.
The next meeting for the Fairfield Hills Authority will be held on Wednesday, August 17, 2011.
