The Fairfield Hills Authority held a special meeting on Wednesday, September 26, 2007 in the meeting room at Town Hall South, Main Street, Newtown, CT. Bob Geckle called the meeting to order at 7:36 p.m.
Present: Bob Geckle, Chairman, Andrew Willie, Don Studley, John Reed, Walter Motyka, Julia Wasserman, Amy Dent and Moira Rodgers. One member of the press.
Absent: Michael Holmes.
Executive Session: The Authority moved into Executive Session at 7:54 p.m. The Board invited First Selectman, Herb Rosenthal, to stay during executive session. At 8:40 the Authority returned to public session.
Motion: Two motions were made by Amy Dent:
Motion number one; Resolved that the Authority recommend that the Letter of Intent to Lease be presented to the Board of Selectmen for the following Fairfield Hills properties: Buildings numbered 63 and 58 to be leased by Naveen and Pushpa Kapur.

Motion number two; Resolved that the Authority recommend that the Letter of Intent to Lease be presented to the Board of Selectmen for the following Fairfield Hills properties: Buildings numbered 61, 59 and 50 to be leased by William Mangold Construction, LLC. (See Attached).
Walt Motyka seconded both motions.
The Authority voted unanimously for first motion involving the properties numbered 63 and 58.
Andrew Willie abstained from the vote for the second motion involving buildings 61, 60 and 59 to avoid conflict of interest due to his close relationship with the lessee. The balance of the Board voted yes to the second motion.
John Reed made a motion to adjourn. Amy Dent seconded.
Meeting ended at 8:58.
