Reason for Appeal: Believes property taxes are higher than comparable homes with the
same square footage, number of bathrooms and bedrooms, age of home, size of lot, and
general condition of the property.
Board Discussion/Resolution: Approved. Decrease the house assessment by $40,000.

dated November 2008.

Reason for Appeal: Believes both houses are over valued because land is in flood zone,
and neighboring houses devalue the property. No updates were ever done to the house.

made based upon the completion of inspection.

2007 & 2008. Assessor’s Office will take off finished basement for 2006 and credit will
refunded.

Reason for Appeal: Property increase seems unreasonable due to the condition of the property. The outbuildings have no value, topography issues, very small lot, on a dirt road, and the condition of the house is fair to poor.
Board Discussion/Resolution: Approved. Delete the shed only 72sq/ft which is under the sq/ft should be no value. Change to house condition to fair, and -25% topography.

Reason for Appeal: Parcel is landlocked, there is no legal access to property. Newtown geological survey shows that most of the acreage is wetlands, there is no site that should be used for a building. Land has no use that can be determined other than wetland preservation.
