This is an important message from the Aquarion Water Company concerning a large water main break in Newtown. Occurring at 10:00 am this morning, the main break was located in a wooded section. We anticipate water pressure improving throughout the evening, with everyone being back to normal water pressure by midnight. Please conserve water as the system recovers.
Some customers may experience water discoloration. If that happens, simply run your cold water faucets until they run clear. Thank you for your understanding.
