Dear Newtown Families,
The Newtown Community Center Commission (NCCC) is looking for feed-back from all residents on how to best use the General Electric (GE) gift in creation of a Center that best serves and inspires our town. To help the Commission deliver a proposal which reflects our town's needs, please access the brief 5 minute survey below to share your opinion.
As you may know, GE has donated $10 million to Newtown as a result of the 12/14 tragedy (plus a $1 million annual grant over five years) to create a facility that acts as an anchor for the people of Newtown to come together – a “hub.” The money must be used to create a location that does not exist today, cannot duplicate existing programs or services, and serves the needs of the entire community as best as possible.
(survey closes at midnight on Saturday, October 10, 2015)
Additionally, four public forums are scheduled:
•September 24 (Thursday) Alexandria Room, Edmond Town Hall from 7-8:30
•October 1st (Thursday) in the Olga Room at CH Booth Library from 7-8:30pm
•October 13 (Tuesday) at The Senior Center 14 Riverside Road, Sandy Hook from 7-8:30pm
•October 17th, 2015 (Saturday) in the Olga Room at CH Booth Library from 10-11:30am.

Thank you,
The Newtown Community Center Commission
