The Town of Newtown will be holding a “Community Giveaway” on February 24, 2013 at Reed Intermediate School in the Gym (please note location has been changed). The event will be open to only Sandy Hook Elementary School families and faculty from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. A Sandy Hook Elementary School Green Badge or Faculty I.D. plus Driver’s License must be presented for entry during this time. There will be NO EXCEPTIONS. Remaining Newtown students and their families may attend from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. A Driver’s License must be presented to verify residency during this time. This event and its activities (art projects, juggling, music, etc.) are geared toward the children
