Meeting Minutes
January 13, 2011
- Call to order: Chairperson Sandra Estabrook called the meeting to order at 7:15pm. In attendance were Sandra Estabrook, Brian Valimont, Mary Anne Lapierre, and Rick Milner.
- Committee reviewed memo from Board of Selectmen approving mission statement at December 29 meeting. Trails Committee now has a home page on the town web site.
- Board of Selectmen suggested that the Trails Committee membership consist of 10 volunteers. The Trails Committee previously voted to have its membership include 7 regular members and 3 alternate members, all volunteers. This vote is consistent with the BOS suggestion.
- Committee examined recorded plan of Busch property to facilitate future plans for trail marking. Cleaning of Busch property discussed.
- Committee discussed that a priority in the spring should be the clearing of the Old Lower Road trail. The committee should try to get official plans and easement language for Old Lower Road to determine exact location of the trail.
- Committee discussed creating a questionnaire to present at town voting to get feedback regarding trails from the public. Members should create questions to be discussed at next meeting.
- Adjourn: Meeting adjourned at 8:05pm. Next meeting is scheduled for February 10, 2011 at 7pm.
