Minutes
May 2nd, 2007
Call to Order: The meeting was called to order at 8:05. Attending were Mary Marshall, Mike Seekamp, Nancy Slombo, and guest Christina Hoffman.
Minutes: There were no minutes to review.
Handouts: Mary distributed copies of the landowner interview and the minutes from last spring’s meeting.
Elections: Mary motioned that we elect Mike Seekamp to remain as treasurer for the Committee, seconded by Nancy Slombo. The vote was unanimous in favor.
Mary motioned that we elect Nancy Slombo to remain a vice chair, seconded by Mike Seekamp. The vote was unanimous in favor.
Nancy motioned we elect Mary Marshall as chair, seconded by Mike Seekamp. Vote was unanimous in favor.
Nancy motioned we elect Mary Marshall as secretary, seconded by Mike Seekamp. Vote was unanimous in favor.
Bylaws: Mary suggested that at the December meeting we update the bylaws to include the definition of a quorum as being a majority of the filled seats.
Brochure/map: The Committee agreed to produce a brochure describing the easement at Hidden Acres and the availability of passive recreation, including a map showing trails and parking area. This brochure could be distributed with annual reports or made available at the town hall. Christina Hoffman agreed to work on a design to bring to the December meeting.
Tree decals: Mike Seekamp brought in a sample of a tree decal. Nancy Slombo will work on the design which will include LCHIP and when it is ready we will call a special meeting to approve before ordering per the motion made in March 2006.
Other: There was discussion of recommendations to be presented to the landowner at the end of the year regarding anything noted on the site walks of 2007. These would be included in our annual report.
