149-M SOLID WASTE COMMITTEE MEETING
August 18th, 2010
Kevin Jolicouer called the meeting to order at 7:10 in the office of the Town Administrator; attending were: Nancy Wrigley, Town Administrator, Bob Bartlett, Kevin Jolicoeur, Kim Hughes, Jack Kosec, and Mary Marshall.
Bob Bartlett presented slides he had made depicting the differences between putting recyclable materials in with the household waste or separating them into the recycling streams.
The minutes of July 28th were accepted as presented.
Kevin Jolicouer led a discussion of the some sections of the ordinance including Authority, Purpose, Use of the Newton Transfer Station, and Operation. The remaining sections will be taken up at the next meeting.
The next meeting will be September15th at 7:00pm.
The meeting adjourned at 8:55.
