Selectmen’s Site Walk Minutes
June 5, 2008
Selectman Trisha McCarthy called the site walk to order at 6:30pm. In attendance were Selectman Trisha J. McCarthy, Selectman Raymond D. Thayer and Road Agent Mike Pivero. Chairman Robert S. Donovan, Jr. was not in attendance. Minutes were transcribed and typed by Selectman Trisha McCarthy.
The Board scheduled this site walk with Road Agent Mike Pivero to review a parcel of town property located on Dugway Road, known as Tax Map 016-01-003 in regards to the placement of a sand & salt shed.
Selectman McCarthy, Selectman Thayer and Road Agent Pivero walked the boundary of the lot while Mike explained the best area on the site to place the building.
Motion made by Selectmen Thayer to allow Road Agent Mike Pivero to continue the process for design specifications from Dennis Quintal for the sand and salt shed to be placed on the lot off Dugway Road known as Tax Map 016-01-003.~ Second by Selectmen McCarthy. Vote: Unanimous.
The Board discussed that as soon as we get specifications, a Request for Proposal will go out for this project. The Selectmen also discussed to have Selectmen Donovan check out the site however; we are prepared to move forward based on the vote.
~Selectman McCarthy adjourned the meeting at 7pm.
