SELECTMEN’S SITE WALK MINUTES
November 24, 2007
Chairman Ulcickas called the site walk to order at 9AM. In attendance were Chairman John P. Ulcickas and Selectman Trisha J. McCarthy. Minutes were written by Chairman John P. Ulcickas.
Chairman Ulcickas and Selectman McCarthy met at the Town Hall and discussed areas within in town to store sand and salt used for winter maintenance on the roads.
After visiting many town properties, Chairman Ulcickas and Selectman McCarthy ended up at the Transfer Station and it was agreed that the Transfer Station would be the best location to store the sand and salt. The Board will look into the cost of a building or a covered structure and any restrictions that might be imposed by the State of New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services.
A discussion ensued on how we currently purchase the material, the delivery method and the quantity per order of the sand and salt from the town’s supplier. Another question was how we get the sand and salt into the vehicles.
Chairman Ulcickas adjourned the site walk at Town Hall at 10:15am.
