NEWTON SAFETY COMPLEX COMMITTEE
MEETING MINUTES OF SEPTEMBER 15, 2005
In attendance: Bob Bartlett, Rick Daniels, Eileen Patterson, John Owens EMD, Horace Williams, Norm Harding, Lynn Harding and Bob Donovan.
Meeting called to order at 6:35 PM.
Accepted the meeting minutes of August 25, 2005
New Business: Discussion of the town survey, reviewed the questions submitted by UNH Survey Center and made several changes. A final draft, including changes, will be sent back to UNH. The selectman will be notifying the community about the survey, announcements will be placed in papers, on cable and on the web site. UNH will be getting back to us as to when the survey will be conducted.
Further discussion was had as to when the “public relations” aspect would begin. It was agreed upon that the town web site should be utilized immediately, and that information flyers should be put out in public places.
Land negotiations were discussed and reviewed.
The next meeting will be held on September 29, 2005, at 6:30 PM, at the fire station.
