Minutes
October 28, 2009
1. Call to Order: Chairman Rick Bailey called the meeting to order at 7:18 Bailey appointed Babcock to stand in for the evening. Potential new member Michele Shepherd was in attendance.
2. 2010 Proposed Budget: The Commission reviewed the budget for 2010. The decision was made to remove both advertising lines since the Commission rarely has to use paid advertising. Job openings can be advertised on Craigslist. The Commission increased or decreased certain line items but the overall amount remained the same, except for a $1 decrease.
Babcock will contact Triangle re pricing for chemical toilets for next year and Dave Marden for grounds maintenance.
3. Senior Programs: A warrant article will be submitted for the 2010 warrant requesting $5,000 for senior programs. This is the same as was done last year.
4. Halloween Party: Bailey submitted receipts for the Halloween Party which was hosted by Boy Scouts troop 91.
Babcock moved to reimburse Troop 91 BSA in the amount $450.00 for expenses for the Halloween Party. Seconded and carried with Bailey abstaining.
5. Adjourn: Bailey adjourned the meeting at 9:38 pm.
