Minutes
· Fall Fair Update
o Fair will be held Saturday, September 30; 10 am – 4 pm at Greenie Park
o Secretary to create master list of events.
o Moon bouncer, pony rides, DJ, Rainforest Reptiles, Cider Pressing, Dunk Tank, bike event – all set.
o Rick will contact police department to get radar gun for speed pitching.
o Nancy motion to spend up to $500 for food, prizes and supplies for the event. Deb, second, in-favor, unanimous.
o Boy Scouts will cook, Nancy will pick up food, supplies and ice.
o Nancy will pick up moon bouncer.
o Picnic tables will be brought from beach.
· Greenie Park
o Deb motion to pay Screamin’ Green up to $800 to aerate and lime both baseball fields, up to $500 to over seed larger field, and $100 to mow hillside, Nancy second, in-favor, unanimous.
o Nancy motion to bring ship climbing structure from Teddy Bear Nursery School to Greenie Park, Deb second.
o Discussion – Rick stated that the structure may be made of pressure treated wood which may be a liability. Rick motion to seek input from the Selectmen to determine if the town should accept the ship climbing structure.
· Town Beach
o Deb motion to spend up to $700 for 2 loads of sand for town beach, second, Nancy, in-favor, unanimous. Nancy will pick up and deliver sand.
· Halloween Party
o Deb motion to spend up to $350 for supplies for the annual Halloween Party run by the Boy Scouts in the Memorial School gym, Nancy second, in favor, unanimous. (Rick abstained.)
· Rick motion to adjourn 9:00 pm.
