Minutes
· Memorial Day Parade
o Bob to talk to Andy at Newton Cable re sound system for parade
o Rick will go early to set up tables and chairs
o Rick is putting together the line-up list for the program
o Secretary to print 100 copies of the program
o Route: West Main Street to Elm Street to Whittier Street to cemetery.
o Refreshments will be served by Boy Scouts. Rick will purchase refreshments.
· Swim Program
o Secretary to call swim aids and life guards re working this summer.
o Chemical toilet will be delivered for Memorial Day weekend.
o Bob to contact police department re phones for life guards
· Tennis Program
o Ads have been put in paper for tennis team
o Several responses for tennis instructor. Rick to follow up.
· Greenie Park
o Back road by ball fields is very muddy
o Drainage ditch is needed to route water to the drain – Bob to get quote
o Rick motion to reimburse Newton Baseball $426.13 out of Greenie Park supplies line for expenses incurred during park cleanup day, in-favor – unanimous.
o Boy Scouts to install “fire lane” signs on back roadway.
o Bob to follow up with Gary on pavilion.
· Other Business
o Tom Gasse to call school re advertisement of “Julie & Brownie” health/safety show scheduled for June 15.
o Motion to adjourn 10:00 pm.
