Minutes of January 11, 2006 Meeting
Tennis
· Warrant article has been developed for reconstruction of Tennis Court
· Advertising needs to be done to inform voters
Town Beach
· Rec. to do a site walk of beach in April to ensure compliance with Newly Adopted and Revised Rules, Chapter Env-Wq 1100 Public Bathing Places (Department of Environmental Services). New signs may be needed.
Bills
· Utility bill received for Greenie Park – Nancy to contact office regarding payment. The bill does not usually go directly to Rec.
Greenie Park
· Rick to begin seeking citizen input for redesign of Greenie Park.
Other business
· Teddy Bear Kindergarten and Day Care asked if Rec. would like the boat (playground equipment item) for the playground at Greenie Park – Rec. to check condition of boat.
· Conservation committee asked if Rec. would agree to move filing cabinets to organize office at town hall. Agreed.
· Rick motion to accept minutes from 12/28/05 meeting. In-favor, unanimous.
· Adjourned 9:30 pm.
