Minutes of December 14, 2005 Meeting

Town Beach
·       Secretary, Rick to get additional proposals for swim platform.
·       Motion (Rick) to spend up to $2,200 on swim platform, second (Janice), in favor unanimous.
Greenie Park
·       Rick moved all supplies to Greenie Park building.  Noted broken lock on door.
·       Motion (Rick) to pay Harold’s Locksmith up to $225 to install new locks, second (Janice) in favor – unanimous.
·       Janice to call to have dumpster removed or see if we can get a reduced rate to leave it there but not dump it during winter.
·       Motion (Deb) to pay Tamarack Tree Service up to $2,400 to remove trees that are too close to the tennis court, in favor – unanimous.
Halloween Party
·       Motion (Janice) to pay Boy Scout Troop 91 $432.72 for Halloween party expenses (DJ $200, prizes $120, soda & supplies $47.72, popcorn machine $65), second, (Gary) in favor – Nancy & Deb. Rick abstained from vote.
Vacation Weeks Activities
·       Bowling alley (Leo’s) was not available during Christmas break.
·       Deb motion to encumber funds of $300 to book Skateland for Christmas break, in favor – unanimous.  Deb to call Skateland.
Bills
·       Request for payments submitted for December
o       $94.50 for Greenie Park dumpster
o       $26.10 for Town Beach dumpster
o       $201.60 Triangle for Greenie Park chemical toilet.
o       $147.22 for tennis supplies
o       $1,080 to Gibbs for repairs to parking lot at Peanut Trail entrance.
o       $300 for Skateland for Christmas break.
o       $432.72 to Boy Scout Troop 91 for Halloween Party expenses.
o       Up to $225 to Harold’s Locksmith for locks at Greenie Park.
o       Up to $2,400 to Tamarak Tree Service for removal of trees.
Action Items
·       Rick – contact Ken Brown from Tamarack to remove trees.
·       Rick – contact locksmith to replace lock at Greenie Park.

·       Rick – work on warrant article for tennis court reconstruction.
·       All members – create short write-up for Town Report for next meeting.
