Minutes of September 28, 2005 Meeting
Town Beach Update
· Resident inquired about swim lesson refunds.
· Janice to issue refunds for cleared checks – will be paid out of savings.
· The pontoons for the raft don’t fit in the shed at Greenie Park. Gary looking into alternate location for storage.
· Janice to measure underside of raft so that new flotation device can be purchased. Raft must be turned over for this purpose.
Fall Family Fun Fair
· Gary R. of Newton Watch requests to have an information table at the Fall Fun Fair. Will be asked to assist police dept. with Kid Care Ids.
· Nancy will pick up coffee, cream, milk, donuts & prizes at Sam’s Club.
· Events/Costs
· Pony rides $200 (11:00 to 1:00)
· Reptile show $350
· DJ $125
· Bouncy Ride & Obstacle course $500
· Balloons for Memorial Walk $30
· Other items for Memorial Walk $80.30
· Coffee/Donuts $100
· Prizes up to $100
· Kid Care Id’s
· Speed pitching contest (police dept. to supply radar gun).
· Pit spitting contest
· Motion to accept (Nancy), in favor unanimous.
· Scouts will help to run concession and bouncy rides.
· Nancy/Deb will arrive about 9:00 for set up.
· Lisa to get check from mailbox for reptile show.
· Police to do fingerprinting for Kid-Care Ids. Need L-shaped table setup.
· Hang blue banner for photos.
· Gary to drop off coffee urn and extension cords.
· Gary & Janice will call fire dept. to bring truck.
Budget
· 2006 Budget will be discussed at next meeting.
· Nancy to contact Screaming Green and Sea of Green for 2006 prices
· Janice to call Waste Management and Triangle for 2006 prices.
