Minutes
September 14, 2010
1. Call to Order: Chairman James Doggett called the meeting to order at 6:50 pm with the following members in attendance: Chairman James Doggett; Board members Ann Miles and Frank Gibbs; Alternates Mary Allen and Rick Milner; and BOS ex officio Trisha McCarthy.
Doggett appointed Milner to stand in for Pettit and Allen to stand in for Vaillant.
2. Allen moved to go into Nonpublic Session under RSA 91-A:3 II (b) – personnel. Second by Miles. Board polled. All voted yes.
Gibbs moved to close the nonpublic meeting at 8:20 pm. Second by Allen. Per unanimous roll call vote, the minutes of the meeting will remain confidential until in the opinion of the majority of the members, the circumstances no longer apply.
Allen moved that the board recommend to the Board of Selectmen Ann Satir as the Administrative Assistant to the Planning Board. The administrative assistant is a permanent part-time position with a starting pay of $12.60/hr and a start date of September 23. Second by Gibbs. Motion carried unanimously.
Doggett called Ann Satir to offer her the position. Ann Satir refused the positon.
Allen moved to recommend Karen Conti to the Board of Selectmen in the same position. Second by Gibbs. Motion carried unanimously.
The board discussed that another selection should be made if Karen Conti refused the position.
Miles moved to recommend Nancy Sprickman to the Board of Selectmen should Karen Conti decline the board's offer. Second by Gibbs. Motion carried unanimously.
3. Adjourn: The meeting was adjourned at 8:45 pm.
