PUBLIC HEARING
NEWTON PLANNING BOARD
November 28, 2006
Pursuant to NH RSA 676:4, I (d), notice is hereby given of a public hearing to be held by the Newton Planning Board on November 14, 2006 beginning at 7:30 PM in the Newton Town Hall, Newton, New Hampshire. The purpose of the meeting is the following:
In accordance with RSA 674:16, 674:21, 675:3, and 675:7, the Newton Planning Board will hold public hearings on amendments to the Town Zoning Ordinance pertaining to the following:
(1) Accessory Apartments,
(2) Home Occupations and Home-Based Businesses,
(3) Elderly Housing,
(4) Building Code References,
(5) Condominium Conversions,
(6) Floodplain Ordinance,
(7) Commercial Architectural Standards, and
(8) Access Management.
The full text of the proposed amendments is on file for public inspection at the Town Hall, Gale Library, and on the Town website www.newton-nh.gov after November 20th, 2006.

The public hearing will be preceded by a Work Session beginning at 6 PM in the Planning Board office at the Newton Town Hall. The following items will be discussed:
(1) Approval of Past Meeting Minutes: 6/13, 7/11, 7/25, 8/8, 8/22, 9/13, 9/26, 10/10, 10/24, 11/1, 11/14
(2) Presentation of NPREA manifest.
(3) Continuation of Board deliberation regarding the request by White Fence Development for an amendment of the conditional approval granted on October 12, 2004 for “Sargent Woods”, an eighty unit elderly cluster development at Smith Corner Road. The property is referenced as Map 8, Block 3, Lot 11. This matter is scheduled for 7:00 PM.
