SECRETARY’S REPORT: Both the October 14th and the 26th
meeting minutes were read and accepted as written.
DIRECTOR’S REPORT: Read and accepted as written.
TREASURER’S REPORT: The October report was read and
accepted as written. The quarterly
was not accepted due to inaccurate
numbers.
COMMUNICATION and CORRESPONDANCE: None.
UNFINISHED BUSINESS:
- The discussion of the Building Committee Money will be carried over to 2010.
- At the Selectman’s meeting the Councilman Electric Company was chosen to do the electrical work needed in our basement.
- Terry accepted the evaluations thanking the Trustee’s for their support.
NEW BUSINESS:
- Terry read the list of holidays she had compiled for 2010. The Trustees agreed the list was accurate. Terry will type up the calendar and present it at the December meeting.
- Carol, Kathy, and Sally signed papers agreeing to follow the Identification Badge Policy.
- Terry received a notification from PS&H announcing their intention to donate Kill-A-Watt meter kits to all New Hampshire libraries. The number will be based on the town’s population. The Gale Library should be getting four meter kits.
- A quote of $75 was given by M. Cote to repair and paint the part of the ceiling near the restroom that is damaged.
- Terry is awaiting 3 quotes for the replacement of the library windows and three quotes for the painting of the woodwork and walls of the reception area downstairs. Terry will then present them to the Selectmen for the 2010 budget. She will keep us informed of the progress.
- Kathy mentioned the “Block Grant Efficiency” that is part of the new ‘Stimulus package’ the federal government has created. She suggested Terry ask the companies we are getting quotes from if they are connected with this ‘Block Grant’.
