brought to our attention. It addressed the recent vandalism
at the library.
UNFINISHED BUSINESS:
- Terry acquired a quote of $1198.09 to renovate the e-room.
This room is in the children’s’ section. Thanks to the generosity
of the Suraci family we will be able to go forward with the
renovation. A motion to go ahead with renovation was made,
seconded, and passed unanimously.
- A quote for repairing the damaged vinyl siding came in at $550 for labor and $250 for materials making it a total of $800.00. A decision
on this will be addressed at our June meeting.
- The carpet cleaning issue will be postponed to our September
meeting.
- A quote of $450 was acquired for 5 cement blocks. Terry spoke with the road agent, Michael Pivero, about this matter. He felt 3 blocks would be adequate. Mr. Pivero will speak with the selectmen to clarify questions about this issue. We will revisit the matter at our
June meeting.
The vote to give the library director a 5% wage increase and
a 2 ½% raise for the staff was unanimous.
