UNFINISHED BUSINESS:

-       Policy revision has been postponed until the December   meeting.
-       The preliminary budget for 2007 has been brought to the town hall.
-       It was voted by the trustee’s to fund up to $250 for the purchase of containers for organizing the circulation desk.
-       The upgrading of the first floor lighting is still pending.
-       The subject of new door locks for the upstairs has been postponed.
-       The acquisition of shelving for the shed is still ongoing.
-       Terry is going to ask Ron Lemere, the primary building inspector’s assistant, to evaluate the need for a new set of pull down stairs for attic access.  If there is a need for new stairs, we will ask his opinion of the kind of stairs needed.

NEW BUSINESS:

-       The 2007 schedule of trustee meetings as well the dates of holiday’s that the library will be closed on has been set. These scheduled dates will be posted.
-       During a recent heavy wind storm, a number of shingles were blown off the library’s roof. It is felt that, at minimum, they need to be repaired before more damage is done to the library’s structure. We discovered that the last repairs made on the roof were made 25 years ago.  It is hoped that a new roof will be looked into by the town. Terry Caswell is in touch with Nancy Wrigley on the matter.
-       The library’s security system is in need of fixing and attempts to get cost estimates are in progress.
