we feel needs to be incorporated in to the present policy. A motion was made and accepted to include it.
The three trustees attended the New Hampshire State Trustee's conference held in Concord on April 26, 2006. Each trustee attended several different workshops and recapped them.
The areas covered were: a. dealing with human resources, b. fund raising, basically for new or renovated facilities, c. policy updating methods, d. how library monies and tangible gifts should be handled, e. handling the possible catastrophes that might affect our library, and f. technological intrusion that can be experienced by libraries today.
It was decided we needed to address policy reviews and/or updating at each meeting to keep them current.
NEW BUSINESS:
Terry informed us of a sewerage problem that occurred on May 9th.
She called for an assessment of the problem and discovered it was in the septic system. The system was then cleaned out.
