Present: Chairman Peter Mears, Pat Wonson, Mary Anne Lapierre, Brian Valimont, Sandy Estabrook and Selectmen Liaison Trisha McCarthy
Trisha informed Peter that Kim Lowther (con com secretary) was sick. She has the mail with her, but there is nothing pressing.
Earth Day is 4/22/11. Discussed doing a neighborhood clean up day. Maybe we could work with scouts and recreation on this.
Discussion: Town mailing for the water district warrant article. We couldn’t get the resident address list in a label format. We will just to hand out flyers. Selectmen McCarthy and Mary Marshall did an infomercial on our local Newton cable channel regarding the water district, so that should help. Also responded to an email that came in from a resident on Heath Street regarding the article and Trisha called to discuss it the resident.
Discussion: Having another bio-monitoring day at the Busch Farm with the Middle School. We will contact the school and Mike Seekamp and Alicia for help with this.
Discussion: having another Manure Management Seminar. Will contact them for dates.
