Conservation Commission Minutes for January 21, 2010  

Attendance:
Peter, Sandy, Pat and Nancy, Mary Anne, Brian.

        Peter called the meeting to order at 7:42pm.
        Kim recorded the minutes.
Minutes Review:
        Peter motioned to accept the Minutes of January 7, 2010 as presented.
        Pat Seconded. All in Favor.  Nancy Abstained.
Correspondence:
  • Newton Planning Board Notice of Decision- Four lot subdivision at 9 Sarah’s Way, Newton NH.  Ann McKillop Araki received Conditional Approval for the subdivision.  
Members discussed town owned land known as Greenie Park that abuts Sarah’s Way. Conservation would like permanent markers be placed separating Greenie Park from the development on Sarah’s Way.
 

Nancy motioned that the town land be marked with permanent markers and also recorded on the Mylar. Peter Seconded. All in Favor.

Trails:  

Pat questioned whether or not we should seek another business for making signs that would identify town owned land and trails. During the meeting, Peter  called the Gentleman whom had been corresponding with to see if any progress had been made. Peter left a message on his voicemail.
        

Announcements: Our next meeting is scheduled for February 4, 2010.

Meeting Adjourned at 9:25 pm.
