Minutes
September 21, 2006
Call to Order: The meeting was called to order at 7:45 by acting chair, Mary Marshall. Present were Patricia Wonson, Nancy Slombo, Kim Vailiant, and Mary Marshall.
Minutes of Previous Meeting: There were no minutes to review.
Correspondence:
Memo from DES relative to site specific permit for Sara Realty on Whispering Pines Campground: Discussion including acknowledging that the ZBA had approved the development in the Acquifer Protection Zone. Nancy questioned what the impact of that decision would be when the next application is made for development in the Acquifer Protection Zone.
Memo to Rich LeClaire from DES for variance to Shoreland Protection Act explaining how to correctly apply and turning down previous request for 49 Wilders Grove Road.
Fax from Kim Pettit to building inspector asking for Conditional Occupancy Permit for Puzzle Lane.
Copy budget indicating a balance of $2794.31.
Old Business:
Wetland Cases: Mary reported that Tricia was connecting DES and the Highway Department in discussion of the filling on North Main Street.
Land Acquisition: Kim, Pat and Mary discussed the previous Planning Board Meeting action on the Defeo land, which was continued until October 10th for other issues at which time everyone will have had time to read the memo from Atty. Ratigan.
Trails: Nothing to report
Family Fun Day: Nancy will talk to Tricia to see if she needs help shopping for items for the mountain bike race. Mary and Nancy will go out and flag the trail so that riders will know which direction to go. We will arrive at Greeney Park at 9:30 on Saturday, September 30th. The race will run from 10:00 to 11:30 with prizes awarded at noon. Nancy is bringing a table, awning and clock. Everyone should bring a lawn chair if they want to sit.
New Business:
Other: This is the last meeting before the first quarterly report to the Selectmen. If anyone has something they think should be in the report they should contact Tricia.
