Conservation Commission Minutes for September 15, 2005
Attending were: Chairperson-Trisha McCarthy, Pat Wonson, Ray Nicol, Selectman’s Representative: John Ulcickas
Chairperson, Trisha McCarthy called meeting to order at 8:00pm.
Guest: Dennis Quintel
Dennis was here to discuss the 55+ housing off Smith Corner Road
Map 7-- Block 4-- lot 5..
Applicant Fitzgerald Realty Trust, 176 South Main, Newton, NH
Dennis explained plans and discussed the crossing on the plans, showing 1st culvert of 20” with rails on each side, and 2nd culvert is 24” as required. The complete application was reviewed, including but not limited to soil, see, storm water, photo’s, drainage analysis, treatment swails and full detail sheets. Appears to be the least invasive for this plan.

Trisha discussed high water problems at Country Pond as a result of call from Jay Hubbard. Trisha Called Frank Gibbs to see if this is something that the Highway should take care of. Frank Gibbs said that unless a blockage was on a town property or culvert, it was not something that they would do. Jay Hubbard has been in touch with the state and they suggested talking to us about a draw down. It was suggested to get more information from Jay Hubbard. Trisha will call him.
