MINUTES

Call to Order: 6:39pm
Roll Call: Mary Winglass, Chair, Public Relations/Programmer; Sally Woodman, Secretary; Diane Morin, Station Manager; Marilyn Landry, Vice Chair
Doug Drury joined the committee at 7:10pm.
Minutes from Previous Meeting of April 20, 2016:
- Diane motioned to accept the minutes as written. Marilyn seconded the motion and it passed unanimously.
Budget: The committee reviewed the budget. The balance at this time is $3,672. It was noted that we will have to be very careful with budget expenditures. The May 9, 2016 the franchise fee was check was deposited in the Cable Revolving Fund in the amount of $14,389.10.
Correspondence and Communications: Mary told the committee that the new Newton Baptist Church minister visited her and seems to want to work with cable committee in continuing to give recordings of their services. He will send the committee all of the new information so that we can update the slide show.
Review Programing Schedule:
Upcoming Events:
- A Public Hearing meeting is scheduled by the BOS on May 31, 2016 at 7:00pm in the Town Hall meeting room to announce some changes in the police department. Doug will work the meeting.
Unfinished Business:
- Time Sheets The new time sheets were sent to Doug and Scott by Diane.
- Camera Problem: There is a problem uploading recordings from the Canon camera. Diane has tried to trouble shoot this problem but has not yet solved it. This means the committee will not be able to upload any special events taped with this camera. The committee felt strongly that the problem is very important and decided to hire Chris Liquori to upload the Memorial Day Services to the Dropbox. Diane will convert and put it in the schedule for broadcasting. Marilyn motioned to hire Chris Liquori to solve this problem. Mary seconded the motion and it carried unanimously.
- The meeting was then adjourned so that everyone could go over the details of setting up for and recording the Memorial Day Parade and service at the Highland Cemetery.
