Budget:  We are waiting for updated worksheets from the bookkeeper.
Correspondence and Communications:
  • Diane will contact both Chris and Connor to come to the town hall and sign evaluation paperwork.  Connor will need to sign the pay increase paperwork as well.
  • Mary will contact the Pastor of the NJBC about attending the next cable meeting to discuss options for a new camera.  She will wait until she hears from Diane that Chris will be able to attend.  Diane will contact Chris about attending the next meeting.
Review Programing Scheduling:
  • Mary asked Diane to review what is being aired.  We have some old programs still running.  Diane will see about replacing the programs with some of our other programs.
Upcoming Events:
  • Mary spoke about the town Earth Day activities.  She is waiting on the Conservation Committee to plan the event.  Currently the date is set to April 18, 2015 and she asked if we could have someone video tape the activities around the town.  Diane will check with the operators to see who is available.
Unfinished Business:
  • Marilyn’s appointment to the Cable Committee will expire in April.  The cable committee asked if she would like to stay on for another 3 year term.  She said yes.
Mary motioned to recommend to the BOS the appointment of Marilyn Landry to the Cable Committee for a three year term.  Sally seconded the motion passed unanimously.
New Business:
  • Newton Baptist Church camera upgrade:  Diane spoke with Chris about this.  Chris is looking into options.
  • Options for the new Selectmen’s tablets: Mary would like a way to power the tablets that the BOS uses.  Suggestions were made and Mary will speak with the Town Administrator about using the maintenance man, Tony, or hiring an electrician.
Other:
  • Station Manager’s update:  Diane reported that she spoke with Chris in February.  They discussed the possibility of purchasing a NewTec switch from Somersworth HS.  This is a 1 year old unit that they have never used.  They cannot use it because the connections they need are HDMI.  This equipment use SDI, which is what our cameras use.  They also spoke about the NJBC camera upgrade options.  As reported above, Chris is looking in to it.  Diane and Chris were going to meet in Merrimac so Diane could review the system used there.  Unfortunately, Chris had a medical emergency.  Diane and Chris will reschedule when Chris is able to.

Respectfully submitted,

                                                                Secretary
