CABLE COMMITTEE MEETING MIN UTES

CALL TO ORDER: 5:35p.m.
Roll Call: Diane Morin, Chairman; Sally Woodman, Secretary; Mary Marshall, Production Manager, Donna Judge, Operator
Minutes from Previous Meeting of September 14, 2011:
- Donna made a motion to accept the minutes of September 14 as written. The motioned was seconded by Diane and passed unanimously.
Budget:
Correspondence and Communications:
- A copy of the Franchise contract with the changes Comcast has made was received.
- Diane will send a copy of this to our lawyer for review.
Review Programing Schedule:
- The scheduling for the church has been adjusted.
Upcoming Events:
- The regional Planning Board meeting will be televised on October 12, 2011. This will supersede the regular Recreation Committee meeting.
Unfinished Business:
- David’s video will play until October 3, 2011.
New Business:
- Donna has found a monopod for $29.95. This device is used to steady the portable camera. Diane made a motion to purchase a monopod for $29.95 with funds from the equipment expense account. Sally seconded the motion and it passed unanimously. Donna will send the link for the monopod to Mary W. who will in turn purchase it.
Other:
- The committee previewed a number of videos available from NHCCM. Several were chosen for broadcasting.
- A copy of the Historical Society’s guest speaker was burned.
