CABLE COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES
Date: July 22, 2010
Place: Town Meeting Hall
Time: 5:30p.m.
Call to Order: 5:40pm
Roll Call: Diane Morin, Chairman; Mary Winglass, Public Relations/Programmer, Sally Woodman, Secretary;
Sue Godin, operator/cable member
Minutes from Previous Meeting of:
- Motion made by Mary W to accept the minutes of June 23 and 29th as written. Motion was seconded by Sue and passed unanimously
Budget:
- Budget was reviewed by the committee.
Correspondence and Communications:
- Request by Planning Board to tape July 27th meeting. Sue said she was available and would do it.
- Request from Coleman McDonough for copies of the Planning Board meetings for June 8 and July 13, 2010 broadcast.
Upcoming Events:
- A gentleman came who expressed interest to work for the town cable station. His qualifications were excellent and more than the cable station requires at this point. We will keep him in mind for special projects.
Unfinished Business:
- No update on tablecloths available
- Dues will be sent to the NH Coalition for Community Media on Friday July 23, 2010 via USPS.
- Reviewed the schedule for cable committee meetings and it was decided to have one meeting in August and two per month for the remained of the year.
- We continued our review of the by-laws. Mary W. will update with changes per discussion.
New Business:
- We would like to get one more VCR up and running for re-broadcast use. Diane will research what is needed to make it happen.
- Mary W. reviewed the new payroll forms that the operators need to use. Sue was given the new forms.
Other:
- Mary W. mad a motion to charge $5 per copy of any recorded programs. Seconded by Diane and motion carried unanimously.
