CABLE COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES
DATE: May 26, 2010
PLACE: Town Meeting Hall
TIME: 5:30p.m.
CALL TO ORDER: 5:45p.m.
Roll Call: Diane Morin, Chairman; Mary Winglass, Public Relations/Programmer, Sally Woodman, Secretary;

Minutes from Previous Meeting of May 12, 2010: Mary Marshall motioned to accept the minutes as written. Sally seconded and the minutes were accepted as written.
Correspondence and Communications:
- A new time sheet for camera operators was reviewed. There were no comments.
Upcoming Events:
- The preparations for the upcoming Memorial Day were put into motion. The necessary equipment was chosen, set up and tested out. It was decided that at 9:30a.m. Diane and Sue would meet at the Town Hall to pick up the equipment and Mary W and Sally would meet at the cemetery. All were assigned tasks to facilitate the filming of the parade. Trisha McCarthy will get a copy of the day’s schedule to Mary W. who will get it to the rest of the committee.
Unfinished Business:
- The work with Tom Gasse was postponed to the June 6th cable meeting.
- The cable room was cleaned up as much as possible at this time. Boxes filled with outdated VCR tapes and some DVD’s and placed outside the cable room for pickup by Kevin Jolicoeur.
New Business:
- The rebroadcast schedule was reworked and the updated version will be typed up and posted by Mary M.
- The need to possibly create a policy for the archiving of recorded programs was discussed. Mary W. will check the State statutes to determine the proper procedures to do this. This issue will be revisited at our June meeting.
- Mary M. tested the Adobe Premiere Elements software and found it did not work on her computer. She said that the Prism software, which is free, worked fine. It was then decided to table the purchase of the Adobe software.
