MINUTES: Meeting of Tuesday, August 19, 2014
CALL TO ORDER at 7:27 PM by Chairman Tom McElroy
ROLL CALL: Chairman Tom McElroy, Dana Allison, Jack Kozec, Alternate Michael Connolly
Absent: Vice-Chairman Alan French, Bradley Cardoso, Alternate Ken Pelletier,
Guest: Rick Milner, Secretary of the Planning Board
Mr. Connolly was made a voting member.
ACCEPTANCE OF MINUTES:
Meeting of June 17, 2014. A motion was made by Mr. Allison to accept the minutes as written. Second by Mr.Kozek. All in favor. Motion carries.
NEW BUSINESS: Review of budget expenditures
OLD BUSINESS: Coleman McDonough request for a review. The Board decided that there could be no review or hearing until the Planning Board requests are met.
Mr. Milner told the Board that the Planning Board felt that Mr. McDonough had not completed the plan as requested. The Applicant thought that there would only be need for one variance, but the Planning Board thought when the plan was completed, and accepted by them, that there would be a need for more than one variance. Mr. McDonough feels that they only need one variance for the 100 foot setback. The Board of Appeals members also felt that there would be a need for more variances. When the Board last discussed this issue, they began to count how many would be needed, They stopped at 14, as they could not continue with the remaining variances needed.
The final inspection by the Building Inspector is scheduled for some time next week, when he returns from vacation.
There also has not been a final decision by the Planning Board. The members of the ZBA were in agreement that they could not review this matter till all was completed and voted on by the Planning Board.
ADJOURNMENT: A motion was made at 7:35 PM by Mr. Allison to adjourn. Second by
Mr.Kozek. All in favor! Motion carries.
Next meeting will be Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at 7:30 PM.
