The Newton Board of Appeals will be holding a public meeting on Tuesday, June 20, 2006 at the Town Hall on Main Street, Newton, N.H. The Board will open the public meeting at 7:30 PM.

Call to order
I.      Roll Call
II.     Acceptance of Minutes of meeting of May 16, 2006
III.    Public Hearings:
1.      Continuation of Public Hearing for Ronald Pica, Sara Realty LLC, Whispering Pines  Campground (Map #005-01-005) to act on the request for appeal from the Aquifer Protection Ordinance, Section XVII, Paragraph 4g, dealing with non-conforming uses.  The Applicant is requesting a variance from the prohibition against expansion of non-conforming uses.
2.      Continuation of Public Hearing for Coleman McDonough, President of 125 Development Corp. of N.H.  Mr McDonough is requesting a variance from the Zoning Ordinance, Section XIII, Paragraph 1, wanting to reduce the dimensional requirement from a 200’ setback to a 180’ where it abuts another Zone.
3.      Public Hearing for Susan Cassidy-Zipkin of 58 Wilders Grove Road, Newton, NH.  (Map #002-04-012).  The Applicant is requesting a variance from the Zoning Ordinance, Section V, Paragraph 3, dealing with location on lot. The Applicant is requesting a variance from the sideline setback in order to remove the existing cinderblock chimney (16”x16”) which is pulling away from the house and does not draw properly (see included house inspection) and replace with a 24”D x 72”L masonry chimney, which house both the flue for the furnace and a fireplace.
4.      Public Hearing for Richard LeClaire of 51 Wilders Grove Road (9 Pond Street) Newton, N.H. (Map # 101-02-015).  The Applicant is requesting a variance from the Zoning Ordinance, Section XIX, dealing with the expansion of a non-conforming lot, and also from Zoning Ordinance XXVII, Paragraph 11, dealing with the size of an accessory apartment.
