Recreation Committee Meeting, July 1st, 2009
Members present: Inge Lee, Gail Bostic, Jane Pratt, Marilyn Hill, Travis Dezotell
Old Home Day events were discussed, triathlon volunteers needed, Travis will contact Katie Seabury to see if she is available for that morning.
Kid’s games will take place at the Velie playground, Julia Steese and Travis, will be there, Devon and Kelsey Lee will also assist with the kid’s games and sand-art crafts table.
Inge reported on receiving positive info from Swank Pictures on the pricing for movies at the park. A report with cost of the equipment will be put together so the board can see, then we should send it to the selectman. All agreed this seemed like a great idea.
Travis reported that the fireworks for this year’s OHD would be spectacular and everyone should come and enjoy the day if they are around.
