NEWBURY CONSERVATION COMMISSION
Special Meeting Minutes, June 15, 2006
Present: William Weiler, Deane Geddes, Frank Perrotta, Eric Unger.
Old Business:
Meeting opened at 5:45 p.m. to correct a procedural error at the June 13 meeting regarding the town-wide conservation plan and hiring consultant E. Ann Poole for the job. Weiler noted the commission had sent three requests for proposals and the commission had received two responses. Members were given both responses to review. In a poll of those attending the June 15 meeting, members said they favored Poole because her response was professional and substantive and she seemed to really want the job. Perrotta moved that the commission hire E. Ann Poole of Hillsborough, N.H. to complete a town-wide conservation plan in accordance with her proposal. Seconded Unger, approved unanimously.
