Public Hearing Notice
Residents of the Town of Newbury and other interested persons, please note that on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at 7:15 PM at the Newbury Town Hall, 25 High Road, Newbury, MA, the Newbury Planning Board will hold a public hearing to consider proposed changes to the Code of the Town of Newbury, Chapter 97, Zoning, as follows:
- Replacement of § 97-9.A. Site Plan Review with a new § 97-9.A. Site Plan Review to amend the site plan review provisions and procedures.
- Deletion of § 97-10.H. Temporary Moratorium on Medical Marijuana Treatment Centers/Registered Marijuana Dispensaries and insertion of a new § 97-5.G. in Article V, Special Permits, to add provisions for permitting and regulation of Registered Marijuana Dispensaries, with related amendments to the Table of Contents, § 97-9.A Site Plan Review, and 97 Attachment 4 TABLE OF USE REGULATIONS.
- Amendments to certain provisions of § 97-4.E. Flood Hazard in conjunction with adoption of the new Federal Insurance Rate Map panels for Newbury, to become effective July 16, 2014.
