MINUTES

Eric Svahn, Chair, call the meeting to order at 7:04 a.m.
- Annual Town Meeting Presentation:
The Committee recapped the presentation that was made to Town Meeting and discussed Boards and Committees in Town to which the presentation should be given, including the Board of Selectmen, the Council on Aging, the PTA, and the Library. The presentation to the Selectmen will be scheduled for their June meeting, to be held on Tuesday, June 24th.
- Police Station Tour: The Committee discussed developing a pamphlet announcing tours of the Police Station and including key information regarding the conditions of the Station and the goals of the MBC. The pamphlet will be distributed at Town Hall, the Library, and in the entry of the Police Station.
- Revised Program and Site Plan: S. Joslin will request CSS, who prepared the Public Safety Complex Committee Report, to develop a revised program and budget for a facility for Police and Town Hall only and a site plan on the Town Hall site showing a new building large enough to accommodate both Town Hall and the Police Department.
- Certification and Accreditation Standards: J. Lucey is to provide the standards which must be adhered to in the new police facility and what the benefits are of following those standards.
- Financing: E. Svahn will provide T. Blais with a ballpark cost estimate for the new facility so that she can run financing scenarios.
- Temporary Relocation Logistics:
The Committee discussed the logistics of temporarily relocating the Town Hall Offices and the Police Department during construction.
On a motion made by S. Joslin and seconded by J. Lucey, the meeting was adjourned at 8:14 a.m.
