Eric Svahn, Chair, called the meeting to order at 7:30 a.m.
- Presentation to Annual Town Meeting:
The Committee reviewed a revised draft of the presentation to Town Meeting, which will be given by E. Svahn.
The Committee will look at how other communities have raised awareness of the need for and advocated for new public safety facilities and whether any other communities have established booster clubs such as “Friends of the Police.” A financing scenario is to be developed tied in to the Town’s debt service, showing what the cost savings would be to do the project now vs. later, and what the average tax increase would be per household.
On a motion made by M. Taylor and seconded by J. Lucey, the meeting was adjourned at 8:40 a.m.
