Media Committee Minutes
Attendance: A Greco, D Mountain, R Hendrickson, P Daubitz
7:10 Paul D Called meeting to order
Dave M moved to approve 11 Jan 2012 minutes, Richard H seconded, majority approved.
Alicia G abstained
Discussion:
- Decided to get a bare bones system up and running as soon as possible so town government meetings can be aired.
- Chris Liquori to be contacted by Paul D to possibly assist Media Committee in moving forward with equipment to bring cable access to the town. Paul D will ask if Chris L would attend our next scheduled meeting on 08 FEB 2012.
- Alicia G to contact Triton to see if they can assist us in getting town government meetings recorded to be aired once our cable station is up and running. Alicia G will ask Bob Lathrop to attend the next media committee meeting on 08 FEB 2012.
- Paul D to ask Tracy Blais on requirements on retaining someone to advise/assist us in our purchases of equipment for cable access.
- Alicia G will email minutes to town clerk for uploading once the minutes are approved.
- Media Committee recommends all town officials and town hall employees upload pictures of themselves onto the website so that towns people can recognize them. Also recommended is a small blurb on “What We Do” to describe each town office.
The committee decided to send minutes to Joe McDonough while he is out of the country to keep him informed as to what we are doing.
Paul D motioned to adjourn at 7:50 PM, Richard H seconded, unanimously approved.
