4. Review Bylaw.
Nick Orem reported meeting with Tracy Blais in November to review the by-law, especially Section 12-3, which defines which projects should be brought before the committee. ~Blais personally was satisfied with the $10,000 limit and thought the Selectmen were also happy with that limit. ~Not long thereafter an article in the Daily News quoted that one of the Selectmen thought the current limit should be raised substantially. ~
Nick has contacted Joe Story, BOS Chair to meet to discuss the Board of Selectmen's views on both issues. ~
5. Review roadway pavement policies.
Larry Guay met with Town Administrator and reported a joint effort including Planning Board, Town Administrator and Department of Public Works to review software/tracking programs and professional services available to inventory, identify condition of Newbury’s infrastructure.
6. Review “CIP requests for 2014”;
Committee reviewed all current requests and made FY15 ATM recommendations. (See attached table)
7. Update of Approved Projects by Town Administrator/department head;
No update was available at the time of meeting.
8. Review CIP Planning Schedule;
No update.
