West Newbury said no the sharing of a new transportation van. Our van is still being used and if there was an emergency Neet Drivers could be used. A Van can be chartered from Salter for $58.00 an hour. Also Ring and Ride is available with its parameters. Our new Van request was presented to the Capital Planning Committee by Tracy, the Town Administrator and we are on the list.

Electronic communication position is moving forward. Martie is meeting with the Personal Board on the wage for this 15 hour position to be used to focus on 60 to 75 yr olds for Volunteers and Services, E-calendar for events and activities, etc.

Meals on Wheels will be having a change soon as the Lawrence Vocational Tech School will not continue doing the meals (asap) for the towns and cities that were receiving them which included Newbury. Martie informed us that hopefully we will know by April who Roseanne of the Merrimack Valley Nutrition Program has found to continue this service to our elders.

Joanne answered a questioner relevant to the Master Plan and a response was received.
Martha Taylor and Eric Svahn have expressed their desire to attend our April meeting.
We discussed that this would be time to put on needs on the table. We would have thinking time until this April meeting to come up with information to give them as to what would be desired for Space for the Council of Aging needs.  Our March meeting will have additional discussion on the matter.

Ethics training needs be done for this year by April 10, 2015

March meeting is the 16th

Meeting adjourned at 2:20 p.m.

Respectifully submitted
