BOARD OF SELECTMENS’S MEETING
JULY 14, 2014
Chairman Walker opened the meeting at 9:30 a.m. with the pledge of allegiance to our flag. In attendance were Selectmen Walker, Bear, Bulgaris, Jespersen and Town Administrator Tracy Blais.
TA Blais advised that in accordance with Chapter 44, section 32B of the MGL she had two year end interdepartmental transfers to present to the Board for approval. The first was to transfer $5,700 from Library Salary and Wages to Library Expenses. The second was to transfer $5,000 from Police Salary and Wages to Police Expense. It was moved by Selectman Bulgaris, seconded by Selectman Bear and voted unanimously to approve both transfers. Clerk Jespersen endorsed both transfers for Blais. The transfers will go to the Finance Committee for final approvals and sign-offs.
Warrants were signed for TA Blais.
A letter of appreciation to David Powell for his years of service to the Planning Board was signed by the Board.
A request from Mass DEP for authorization for Geoff Walker as the new Chairman of the Selectmen to sign off on the close-out of two P.I. projects was sent to Counsel Kremer for review and will be added to the agenda for July 22nd if approved.
The meeting was adjourned at 9:40 a.m. on a motion by Selectman Jespersen, seconded by Selectman Bear and voted unanimously.
