BOARD OF SELECTMEN’S MEETING
OCTOBER 28, 2012
Chairman Story opened the meeting at 3:15 p.m. on a motion by Selectman Bulgaris, seconded by Selectman Walker and voted. In attendance were Selectmen Story, Bulgaris, Walker and Town Administrator Tracy Blais. The focus of the meeting was review of our Emergency Hazard Mitigation Plan document and declaration of a local state of emergency due to Hurricane Sandy.
The Emergency Hazard Mitigation Plan document used when declaring our last emergency in June 2012 was reviewed and it was moved by Selectman Bulgaris to continue using this document, seconded by Selectman Walker and voted unanimously.
The next discussion was a declaration of a state of emergency relative to MEMA notification received regarding Hurricane Sandy. In was moved by Selectman Bulgaris, seconded by Selectman Walker and voted unanimously to issue a local state of emergency declaration.
The meeting was adjourned at 3:35 p.m. on a motion by Selectman Walker, seconded by Selectman Bulgaris and voted.
