BOARD OF SELECTMEN’S MEETING
OCTOBER 28, 2009
The meeting was called to order at 1:05 p.m. by Chair Joseph Story. Selectmen Story, Keller, Bulgaris, Russo, Walker, Town Administrator Chuck Kostro and Counsel Tony Penski were in attendance.
It was voted unanimously on a motion by Selectman Russo and seconded by Selectman Keller to adopt the “order of taking” for 58 and 60 Northern Boulevard.
Selectman Russo announced that the dedication of the “Reflections Bridge” in honor of Bill Plante would be held on Saturday, November 7th at 10:30 a.m. at the bridge with a small reception at Town Hall immediately after.
The Selectmen briefly discussed engineering for the Town Barn, a MVPC traffic study for Byfield Center, and the availability of a portable speed wagon for the town. It was also noted that our town employees, especially police and highway should be recognized and commended for their time and efforts on Plum Island above and beyond their normal duties.
The meeting was adjourned at 1:25 p.m. on a motion by Selectman Walker, seconded by Selectman Russo and voted unanimously.
